Director of State Partnerships & External Affairs
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with frequent national travel
Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000
We are seeking a Director of State Partnerships & External Affairs to join our three-person leadership team. In this senior role, you will be the primary architect of SPEND’s external presence and the leader of our State Partnership Network. You will serve as our lead envoy to State Education Agencies (SEAs), developing the deep relationships necessary to modernize national data standards and crafting the public narrative that builds trust in SPEND’s data products.
Senior Data Analyst
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with some national travel
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the development, validation, and analysis of the next generation of education finance data. In this role, you will serve as a cross-cutting team member contributing to SPEND’s data continuity efforts and our cutting-edge AI pilot model development. You will bridge the gap between technical data science and public policy, translating complex, inconsistently structured datasets into the clear insights necessary to modernize the nation’s education finance data infrastructure.
