The F-33 survey collects school finance data for elementary and secondary public school systems (local education agencies [LEAs]) in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Data include measures of revenues by source, expenditures by category, and aspects of debt and assets. This data is used to allocate specific Federal grants, conduct research on how well states and districts allocate and use resources, and used to control for spending in research studies.
